From Lower Chamberlain Lake to TH -- Sept 28-30, 2008
Well, now that we are back to where we should have started out last night, we can start moving in the right direction. It was beautiful
in the morning light.

Trudge, trudge, trudge...

Getting the goats to drink out on the trail is always difficult. They don't like any water that doesn't taste, and smell, like what they have at home. So they go quite a ways before they succomb to their thirst. At this point, Little Brother has finally capitulated and drank for a VERRRY long time!

These meadows just make you want to lie down and take a nap!

Now that's a drainage. And a killer alluvial fan.

Washington Lake

And finally, 4th of July Lake. We are now only 1-1/2 miles from the trailhead. And tired.
