On Way to 4 Lakes Basin -- August 9-19, 2008
This route over into the 4 lakes basin from the Born Lakes area followed a route suggested by Margaret Fuller in her book,
Trails of the Sawtooths & White Clouds. To say that it was a challenge would be to master the art of understatement. June
Heise, intrepid hiking partner, ended up on all fours to make it to the top. Suffice to say it was good to be over this 10000 ft+ ridge.
