Hiking Around the Langer Basin!

The goats never met a climb they weren't ready for	The one we call Cocoa-Brownie (AKA: the food thief!)
As we circle this basin, Langer Lake and the CG come into view
The effects of 2012's Halstead fire are obvious all over this area	While I say, 'As you go, don't forget to stop and photograph the flowers', the goats version goes something like, 'As we go, we will not forget to stop and eat the flowers!
One of my favorite little meadows in this area. However it was more picturesque BEFORE the Halstead fire!
Maxie questions, 'Are we really going all the way up there??'	Getting very close to the point where I/we turned and headed up the avalanche chute. And a bloody difficult climb. Island Lake in the background.
