Maxie was more than ready to lie down. He had done so much running around on he way here that his paws were sore. I was definitely concerned about the trip back the next day. As it was, he did make it, but he lay around a lot the following day.
Remembering that this is mid-July, I was astounded at the large snow cornice on the ridge opposite.	Here Kevin attempts to lure what were very reluctant trout. We surmised that they were in a 'spawning' mood and therefore not-so-excited about eating.
No wonder Kevin didn't catch him. He looks positively disinterested
