The Aldemann Mine
One of 9 long-dead mines in the Boise Foothills

One the way up. For obvious reasons, this one was 'UP' from the TH

A few of the 'locals' we saw on the way up. Since this is a deer wintering area for this area, we saw over 100 of them in groups of varying sizes.

We are high enough here to be able to see the entirety of the Sawtooths.

First glimpse of the mine.

A bit closer.

Wasn't sure about these. Lined up in a row on the opposite side of the drainage. Possibly exploratory holes?

Looking back down towards the TH. It is all the way down the ridge on the left where you can just see what looks like a meadow. This hike is about 3.5 miles one-way according to the GPS.

Probably one of the most well-preserved mines of the 9 in the foothills.
