Day 4

Looking towards the east end of the lake

The falls in the center is the upper lake draining down. It is about 200' above us

We attempted to access the lakes above our campsite on the lower lake, but were only partially successful. We visited all the Trail Creek Lakes, but did not make it to Regan & the other Trailer Lakes, Looking towards we west end of one of the upper lakes, 8225' on the Topo.

It is a bit difficult to see the lines of this rock against the rock background, but the rock in the foreground is an almost perfect trapezoid.

Some of the local residents encouraging us to 'just move on'. ;-)

The upper lake, 8245' on the Topo, home to some verrry nice looking trout.

The upper lake, 8225' on the Topo.

An incredibly good example of an 'alluvial fan'.

On the way out, not only was there not much to take pictures of, but I was waaaay too tired to even try. This waterfall was the one exception. It was very attractive.
