Miner Lake!
The second lake in this area that we visited and where we spent the second night. As I have already noted, there were plenty of dead
trees just 'hanging in' and waiting for enough wind to uproot their fragile substructure and send them crashing down on the unwitting
and sleeping campers below. What is the meaning of stress...

Miner as it appeared the afternoon we arrived

Mocha on the way over, standing in a goat's paradise, unlimited greenery

Evening glow, last of the sun for that day

From above on our trek over the ridge to Norton Lakes

Miner with a shot of the small lake above

Miner lit up by the intermittent sun. Its shallowness is the 'why' of no fishery

A good look at both lakes. We are near the top of the ridge at this point
