Winter 2022-2023, in New Mexico


For this one we have to harken back to late 2022. Just as the sun was going
down, after a day of drifting and intermittently wet storm cells, this beautiful
weather 'comment' performed the 'period' for this day's sentence.

In mid-January, winter finally became insistent that we finally admit that, 'yes Virginia, it is really winter', even here in New Mexico.
Late January the Gila NF is teasing us with the taunt, we're gonna get ya yet!	Well, winter finally wearied of the hollow taunts and gave us 3-4 inches of partly cloudy mid-February
Well, not long after that, 'winter' retreated back to the Gila, and left us alone for the remainder of the winter season	Before the snow all retreated to deeper into the Gila, we had this beautiful alpenglow event beginning March
